English lessons
The Summer School programme includes 15 hours of English lessons per week, consisting of 3 hours each morning.
Each week’s lessons are based around a specific theme, such as ‘Music & Culture’, ‘Magical England’, ‘Image & Identity’ and ‘Imagination’. Lessons focus on speaking, listening, reading and writing through a number of communicative and creative language projects.
Our lessons are designed to encourage communication, enhance accuracy and vocabulary as well as prepare students for their after-school activities.
Our qualified and experienced teaching team plan the syllabus and deliver lessons according to the high standards of the British Council. We have an excellent team of teachers who are passionate and interested in making your English language learning experience enjoyable and productive.
At the end of your course you will receive a certificate and academic report.

Activity Programme
Option 1: All Activities
Most students will follow the full programme of activities, which includes five afternoon activities, three evening activities, one half-day excursion and one full-day excursion.
The afternoon activities could include visiting local attractions such as the Roman Baths, playing sports or games, and doing quizzes and treasure hunts. All students will have an orientation tour of Bath on their first day.
